Which banks or building societies can I use to pay the fee for this procedure?
First of all you need to bear in mind that the holder of the bank account from which the fee payment is being made must be the holder of the digital certificate used to sign the application details (the applicant).
To pay the fee you use the Tax Agency payment gateway and, depending on the type of payment, you will have to check that your bank or building society accepts this type of payment and the times at which it does so.
Credit card payments
You can only pay with credit cards issued by banks or building societies included in the list provided by the Tax Agency (View list), a link to which can be found on the form next to the box where you have to enter the entity's code and also on the general information page.
The entity code is the code that is shown in the previous list.
Check your bank’s business hours (View timetable).
Payment by direct debit
You can only pay through banks or building societies included in the list provided by the Tax Agency (View list), a link to which can be found on the form next to the box where you have to enter the entity's code and also on the general information page.
Check your bank’s business hours (View timetable).
I have carried out the first steps of the request, but when I am making the payment, an error is returned. What should I do?
First of all, check that you have actually paid the fee by checking:
- Your bank account.
- The Tax Agency website: https://www2.agenciatributaria.gob.es/es13/h/pago0x7a.html?tip=PRO&con=at&mov=02
If it has been paid it may be that a technical error has occurred due to which we have not been able to show you the Identifier.
Go to the page Retrieve Identifier to view the identifiers of the requests you have made. You will need your digital certificate (the data on said certificate must be that of the applicant).
If you have paid and there is no Identifier you may choose to claim your money back and try to make the payment electronically again or make the request via another available means (by post or in person).
If the Tax Agency charge does not appear, the request has not been made. Possible causes include, among others:
- Payment with credit card from an unauthorised entity.
- Payment by direct debit from an account of an unauthorised entity.
- The applicant is not the holder of the bank account from which the payment is being made.
- The bank does not offer this service at the time the request has been made.
I am trying to download a file. It appears for a moment and then disappears. I have pop-up windows blocking deactivated. What should I do?
This is something that happens in the Internet Explorer browser (versions 7 and 8), when the option to ask automatically if you want to download a file is deactivated.
To activate this option
- On the menu bar, click “Tools” and then “Internet Options”
- Select the “Security” tab
- Click the “Custom level” button
- Go to the “Download” options
- Click on “Enable” in “Automatic prompting for file downloads”
- Click on “OK”
