Introduction:

The Ministry of Justice has committed to make its website accessible in accordance with  Royal Decree 1112/2018, of 7 September, on accessibility of Public Sector Websites and Mobile Applications, transposing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 26 October 2016.

  This Accessibility Statement applies to the Website, excluding embedded content from other Domains.

Compliance Status:

 This website is partially compliant with Royal Decree 1112/2018 due to the lack of conformity of the aspects indicated below.

Inaccessible Content:

 The content shown below is not Accessible for the following reasons:

1.       Lack of Conformity with Royal Decree 1112/2018:

1.       There may be IT system files in PDF and other formats published before 20 September 2018 that do not fully meet all accessibility requirements. Although efforts have been made to ensure that most of them do.

2.       There may be third party content that is not developed by the Ministry of Justice or not under its control, such as IT system files.

3.       There may be pre-recorded files published before 20 September 2018 that do not fully meet all accessibility requirements.​

This statement was prepared on 27/07/2022.

The method used to prepare the statement was a self-assessment performed by an external specialist company on a sample of pages carried out according to Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1524 and the corresponding results report on 27/07/2022.

You can do this through the Generic Request of the Electronic Headquarters of the Ministry of Justice or using the rest of the options included in Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

Communications, complaints and requests for accessible information will be received and processed by the Administrative Information and General Services Inspection Office.    

Complaint Procedure:

If, after a request for accessible information or a complaint has been made, it was rejected, you were not in agreement with the decision made, or the response does not meet the requirements of Article 12 (5), the person concerned may make a complaint. A complaint may also be made if the period of twenty working days has elapsed without having received a response.

The complaint can be submitted through the de la Generic Request of the Electronic Headquarters of the Ministry of Justice​​, as well as in the other options included in Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

Complaints will be received and processed by the Unit Responsible for Accessibility.

Optional content:

An improvement plan is being developed to address the identified non-compliance issues and to maintain full compliance with the established accessibility criteria in the future.
