How to enter Register data?
The fields Autonomous Region, Province and Civil Register must be filled out in that order, selecting options from the list. While one is being completed, the next is loading the appropriate data. Occasionally, a field may take some time to load, in which case the message Please Wait will appear.
The Volume field must contain at least five figures. It may be necessary to complete with zeros on the left. If the Volume has other characters separated by a hyphen as well as the initial numbers, it will be necessary to fill in the 5 initial numbers with the final characters separated by as many underscores (_) as are necessary to complete 10 digits. For example:
- 234must be entered as 00234
- 486-T must be entered as 468____T (4 underscores)
- 128-26C must be entered as 00128__26C (2 underscores)
The Page field can only have up to 3 figures, and they can be followed by 1 character. Examples of valid Pages: 23, 1b, 11b, 111b.
If an obligatory field is not completed, the corresponding notification message will appear and the field will need to be completed in order to continue.

4. Have a Virtual Java Machine installed
In order to perform the request procedure, you must have the virtual Java machine installed on your browser if the service requires a digital signature.
To check the virtual Java machine you have installed and, if necessary, to upgrade it to a usable version, go to the following website:
http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp
On this page, click the “Verify Java version” button to find out which version you currently have and, where relevant, whether it is possible to upgrade this to the latest stable version compatible with this service. To be able to make requests requiring a digital signature, you could have to install a compatible version, available at:
We recommend you leave only one Java version and uninstall those that are not used in order to avoid possible incompatibility problems.
You can check the Virtual Java machine requirements at the link 'Check that your computer meets the requirements necessary to carry out the procedure' associated with each process.
