Appeal to a superior court

ATTENTION: this form is only valid for lodging appeals or complaints AGAINST THE PROCEDURES/RULINGS OF THE BODIES OF THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE.

To appeal against any procedure/ruling you must go to the electronic office of the corresponding Ministry or Public Administration (Autonomous Community, Local Entity, etc.), or to the General State Administration’s common electronic registry:

You may file your appeal electronically, at the Ministry of Justice's Electronic Register, by completing the form accessed from this page and attaching the documentation you wish to provide, duly scanned. Remember that said form must list, as accurately as possibly, the documentation provided and meet the other requirements described in the general information regarding the procedure.

You will be requested to identify yourself and digitally sign your message, pursuant to the requirements established to access the Electronic Register.

This procedure is equivalent to physically submitting the form at the Ministry’s General Registries Office. The system will record the form digitally signed by the applicant in an entry in the Electronic Register.

The applications submitted via this channel will subsequently be processed applying the ordinary procedure until their final resolution.

If the applicant is representing another individual or legal person, they must send this Ministry the documentation certifying that they are acting in the capacity of representative by post (art. 32 of the Legal Provisions Governing Public Administrations and Common Administrative Procedure, LRJPAC).
