Certificate of Sexual Offences

To complete this procedure you must be registered on Cl@ve system or have one of the various electronic certificates of @firma platform, such as the FNMT certificate, or the DNI-e. If you do not have one of these certificates, you can make the request through the Internet and then go to the nearest home office to prove their identity. Locate the nearest office of the FNMT (FNMT seeker) or Cl@ve Registry office network:
- Tax agency
- Social Security Offices
- Public Employment Service
- Citizen Information Offices of the Government Delegations
The certificate of Sexual Offences, under Spanish law, is the only certificate issued to regularly work with minors.
The data contained in the Sex Offender Registry are available to public administrations, so when a Public Administration requesting the Certificate of Sexual Offences, the citizen has the right not submit data or documents that are already held by the Administration and must allow for it to consult their data internally.
In the scope of a (work, volunteer or other) relationship with a company, association or organization involving regular work with minors, workers may authorize a representative of the same to be processed in batches all certificates staff, avoiding the individual processing for each of those affected.
You can consult the status of their application of certificate, and download the certificate if it has already been issued through the application number that is included in your proof of certificate request.
